A Grille is a vent cover with horizontal or vertical slats that allows air to pass into or out of a room from an HVAC system. It is usually installed at the end of air ducts — on walls, ceilings, or floors — and is a crucial component of air distribution systems.
Grilles do not have adjustable blades (unlike registers or diffusers), and are typically used for return air or general supply.
