C & S Connector duct
C & S Connector duct
The C & S Connector Duct system is a widely used method in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) ductwork, particularly suited for low-pressure applications. This system employs a combination of Drive Cleats (“C”) and Slip Cleats (“S”) to securely join rectangular duct sections, ensuring efficient airflow and structural integrity
Drive Cleats (“C”): These are typically used on the shorter sides of the duct sections. They are hemmed edges that are folded over and secured with cleats to form a tight seal.
Slip Cleats (“S”): Used on the longer sides of the duct sections, these cleats provide additional rigidity and are designed to slip into the drive cleats, enhancing the overall strength of the joint
- Materials: Both cleats are commonly made from galvanized steel, offering durability and resistance to corrosion.

HVAC Systems: For connecting rectangular duct sections in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Space-Efficient: Their design allows for easier integration into spaces with limited room.
Air Handling Units: Integrated into units to manage and distribute air throughout a space.
